Pepsi Campus Collective Brand Ambassador - University of Florida

Do you want real world marketing experience with million dollar brands?  And are you aware of (and better yet, enjoy) the following beverages: LIFEWTR, IZZE Fusions, Propel Water and Starbucks Doubleshot?

If so, why not bring the awesome as you raise awareness, drive trial and bring those brands to life on college campuses across the country. We’re seeking student Brand Ambassadors who can transform the everyday into something more. These Brand Ambassadors will have the chance to grow professionally by promoting, supporting and activating a variety of on-campus activations.

How does it work? It’s a 14 week program (we’ve got you covered all semester!) The first 4 weeks you’ll get artsy with LIFEWTR; the next four you’ll share the bubbly IZZE Fusion vibes; the next 4 are all about fitness with Propel Water; and finally, the last two weeks are about helping your fellow students as they get ready to power through finals with Starbucks Doubleshot.

Will you have to work hard? Absolutely. Will you get some sweet gear to share? Maybe. And will you get some delicious PepsiCo brands to drink? The chances are good, my friend. Very good.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Promoting scheduled on-campus events via social media, signage and other promotional elements
  • Scheduling and facilitating branded activations at key locations with support from our Management team
  • Providing campus intel and insight for program planning and execution
  • Gathering and presenting consumer feedback
  • Complying with program, campus and legal guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled undergraduate student during 2017-2018 school year 
  • Strong academic performance (3.0+ GPA)
  • Able to commit approximately 5-8 hours per week (during peak times on campus) for the '17 Fall Semester
  • Attend one of the program's twenty target schools
  • Well-connected and outgoing member of campus community 
  • Extremely active and well-versed in social media 
  • Goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Creative, ability to network with multiple organizations and think outside the box to create impactful events  
  • Interest in graphic design, art, design and other creative visual arts (You don’t have to be studying it but an interest is definitely a plus)
  • Adaptable and confident dealing with ambiguity
  • You don’t take things too, too seriously – except of course for this job
  • Have experience working with college rec/fitness center and knowledge of what classes are popular (bonus points if you are friends with anyone who works there!)
  • Have sophomore standing or higher and have knowledge of campus like the back of your hand, which is to say…
  • You know where the action is
  • You are professional - and know what it means to have fun, professionally speaking 
  • Interested in sales or marketing 
  • Have unlimited access to a personal computer and smartphone 
  • Able to communicate via email on a daily basis
  • Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales or brand ambassador experience 
  • Experience leading a team or campus organization
  • Event planning experience and enjoys speaking in front of large groups

Other:

  • Duration: 14 weeks. Approximately August 28th  through December 14th  (exact dates will vary by campus)
  • This is a temporary, paid independent contractor position (5-8 hrs/week)
